Arlene Robbins

Ms. Robbins is a professional watercolorist artist residing in New York City.  She works in the tradition of the great British watercolorists and has studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League of New York.  Ms. Robbins has lectured about painting technique and the history of watercolor.

Among her numerous awards, The Environmental Protection Agency selected her as the “Woman of Vision in the Arts 2008“.  Other honors include the Cynthia Shipp Goodgal Memorial Award, the prestigious Red Dot Award from the Art Students League of New York and the Kathrine A. Lovell Memorial Award.  Ms. Robbins has several paintings on exhibit at Juxtapose Gallery, Westfield, New Jersey.  She is a member of the Salmagundi Art Club, The Art Students League, and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club.

Her watercolors and graphite drawings are included in private and public collections.  She welcomes commissions and teaches private and group lessons.
